Still or Stand Hunting Preference....

Do you prefer to still or stand hunt?

sorry,didn't see your question..I used to love still hunting in the rain..
Got several deer this way and even some fox...I still do a bit of it if
it isn't too cold or windy..My dad was a great still hunter...But I didn't
have his patient

Still hunting is an almost a gone art .
Hardly anybody "hunts" anymore .
We (my self included) sit in stands instead of actually hunting game.

I would rather stand hunt but if the deer are not moving I will still hunt.

Ive had my best luck still/stalking however I do spend some time in one of my stands just to see where the movement is...

An injury prevents my stand hunting for too long, but I still do it. Most of my hunting is still hunting, especially as it gets colder. I might not have as much success groundpounding, but I enjoy the hunt more.

i would like to try still hunt........you still hunt when you turkey hunt but i hunt in a stand

I still hunt during gun but stand hunt during bow. So in this forum I still hunt

I prefer to hunt out of a tree stand,but I will probably do more still hunting in the near future.
