Default How long for a new buck to come in

Anyone know about how long it might take for a new buck to come into an area after the one occupying the area is killed? There is a great buck area where I was hunting and had seen an 8 pointer a couple of times. I found the buck shot dead in the woods. Now I'm wondering when I might likely find a new one in the area since it offered such a good habitat. Thanks

I manage a 43 acre area and on one game camera we had 11 different bucks come by in a matter of 2 weeks.

Another submissive buck already in the area will become dominant and claim the area quickly. Either that or another rival buck that may have been run off previously will come back in when that buck stops marking the area up with rubs and scrapes.
