I am hunting the first weekend of december for my deer i have a buck tag. There are both whitetails and mulies on this land. Just wondering if you had any tips for me this time of the year thanks-
Our season ends the first week in December and there are still some bucks rutting but most have slowed down. Dress warm for the weather and the sit. Set up on a well used travel corridor and wait them out. They will be still moving so this may give you a shot.
Better hope the weather is bad. Only success I have had in later season is when the weather is real ugly. Cold, snowy and/or rain. Weather creates forced movement. Let me state it again, you really, really want SNOW and COLD. It makes then move alot.
