Default Bleaching European mounts

How do you all bleach the skull? Do you boil bleach & water, if so how much bleach and how long or just soak in plain bleach or what?

Do not bleach, bleach will break down the skull.soak it inperoxide for a few days and let it dry in the sun.

Bleach is corrosive....
Just look at the symbol on the bottle....
Its best if you can get ahold of 40 vol hydrogen peroxide instead of the normal 10 vol you get at the drug store......
Hard to find but if you havn't made enemies with your high schoolscience teacher they may be able to get you some........

I agree, peroxide is the way to go. As for tho 40 stuff, check a local beauty supply, they carry all from 10 to 40....

Thanks for posting this. I was planning on bleaching a skull after the ants had cleaned it off so you just saved me from making a big mistake!
