A lot of times a deer will blow out its nose to get a better wiff of the air. It isn't a panic blow but more of a clearing the nose.If you are hunting in slightly swurling winds, deer will do this because they caught something
they were unsure of and want a better wiff. If the wind works in your favor, the deer may calm down and continue. Keep in mind, he or she will be at the top of their panic mode and will bolt at the slightest thing.
