My uncle fritz (pictured) has a horseshoe hidden somewhere.Every year he kills several deer even when noone else is getting any action,back in 91 my cousin ed set our camp record with a great 17 point non-typical boon and crocket 165 inch buck on the second day out of fritz`s stand after fritz shot his buck opener morning(8 pointer)
Back to this year,opener morning we all got to our stands well before first light as ussual,you could see the sun starting to make an appearance on the horizon,just a dead calm,and sure enough here comes the roar of his 270,by the direction the shot came from and thecrack of the 270 I already knew what happened.I did`nt see it till dark but MAN what a buck,big body too.On my profile pic he`s the half-wit with the pipe hangin out of his mouth behind me,pluggin his ears while I`m shootin my bow haha(we just got done shootin the 50 cal BMG on the ground next to me so he was a little skidish)
