Default Wear your safety harness.

Folks, I just want to encourge all of you to wear your harness if you are going to be in a ladder stand or on a lock on. My vol. fire dept got called out last night about 19:30 hours for a hunter had fallen out of a tree. Hehad fallenabout twenty feet or maybe more, broke both wrist, broke an arm, broke a rib and had an avulsion to the back of the head. He had been on the ground for at least two to four hours until someone went and found him. From what I heard about him today he is ok but he does have some bleeding on the brain. Please remember this man in your prayers and wear a harness.

I NEVER go up or down without my harness on! BUT I'll take this as another reason why. Hope he has a full recovery.

I hear ya. Being a firefighter myself i know all to well what happens to thoes who dont wear them. I am guilty of not wearing one in my laderstand but im comfortable not wearing on in my laderstand since its plenty big. But in my climber and all hang ons, im locked in from ground, to the stand, and back down again.
