Here is my first bow deer of the year. An awsome muley 2x2 I took from approximatly 15 yards. The deer took off for about 40 yards and dropped. I had given up for the day and was driving hom when the lord told me to turn down a dirt road. Well, I was driving down and saw this small herd. He was feeding with 4 does around him. They barely moved for my truck and I thought the good lord brought me this way for a reason. So I hopped out of my truck and soon after, whamo I hit with a double lung shot. This was about at 10 min. after sunset and in Montana you can hunt up to 30. min after sunset. I have some more deer tags but I really want to wait until rifle season. but it sure is difficult...haha
