Well went out for the rifle opener for Whitey bucks today. Seen lots of big bucks out there a few weeks ago while bow hunting, and me and my dad came across this lil fellow, he was about 80yds away, i had a bow cause i want to try and bag my whitey with a bow this year so he decided to take it with his 30.06 Nice lil 2x2 and got a lil meat for the freezer now. I did manage to bag myself a Spruce Grouse though.

nice grouse/pics. im hopefully going chicken/deer hunting on Sat in Rocky. It's supposed to rain though apparently, so hopefully the weather changes by then.
ps:nice deer too, those little guys are tender
Hey lethal, where were the pics taken? I just got back from bow hunting elk around the Kootney Plainson the south end of Abraham Lake. I stayed over night in Nordegg before and after the hunt.....beautiful country.
