Interesting Article on CNN About Deer Hunting

I found an interesting article that CNN ran a few days and they physical dangers of men deer hunting. I think everyone should take a look at it before they enter the woods this year. It certainly caught my eye.

A group of 25, is not very extensive and when it's my time to go, I'd just asoon be out hunting.

It's a good reason to try to keep yourself in shape in the off season. I try to go for a run or a long walk in the woods a few times a week. I agree with gobbler if its my time to go....at least I'm doing something I like.

When looking at the candidates they selected, it's no wonder they came up with those results.

you know what i got out of this article.....deer hunting is good exercise. which is even more reason to enjoy the outdoors.

Deer and Deer Hunting Mag. had an interesting article on the same issue a couple of years back. It was shocking to read how many had heart attacks dragging that buck of a lifetime back to the truck. I saved the article so that in a few years from now when I retire, I'll use it to help convince my wife that I need a quad.

If definitely helps to be in shape. In my younger days while hunting the syeep hills and hollars of WV when I weighed nearly 400 pounds it was a serious gut check. Its a wonder I didnt fall over dead back then. When it finally got to where I couldnt hardly get around like I wanted to about 10 years ago I dropped almost 200 pounds. Now its 10x's more enjoyable and I have been much much more successful. I still ride mt bikes year round....fantastic exercise for the legs and cardio and thats what gets it done come hunting season.
