Default CORN

Ok, so the inlaws have 121 acres of land, 66 of it field of which all of the field is in the CRP program. This year they are takin 6 acres out for you know who to plant a sweet food plot. I would like to put in some corn next spring but i am wondering how big a corn plot should be for the deer to actuall use it, live in it, etc... Is this too small/too big? should i plant something else?? All tip are appreciated

Default RE: CORN

The ideal plot for me would be to plant about 5 acres of corn and then have strips of Buck Forage Oats and white clover as shooting lanes radiating from a a couple of stand sites using most likely wind directions to chose the stand sites..
