Default scrapes?

hey guys i hunt about a 75 acre piece of property in southern ny, thats composed mostly of a ridge and an old grown over field at the bottom...ive searched for scrapes the past 3 years and never find any!!..find tons a rubs, and look for scrapes..where they should be but never find any..are there places where deer dont scrape ..or whats the deal??..please help

I find most scrapes on the edge of a clover or corn or a field thats being browsed in .
Most of the time I believe its smaller bucks or bigger bucks in the dark .
