Default NAHC

Anyone here a member of the North American Hunting Club? I got a letter from them asking me if I wanted to be a member and included a list of the benefits, mostly them letting me try stuff for free. Is this organization good or too good to be true?

Thanks to all.

to Good to be true. Was a member for a few years and just paid dues, never once got to try anything for free, besides a window Decal

I wouldn't recommend joining a hunting club solely for membership benefits.
Biggest benefit is meeting like-minded fellas to hunt and share information with. Although you can do that here for free.

But after a quick look, depending on NAHC dues, the benefits seem alright. Lots of discounts, including 10% off at mytopo.com.

I'm a life member...I think its worth it. I've tested alot of stuff that I've got to keep for free. pretty good mag every month. you get some "stuff" with the life membership.

I was a member for a couple of years, several years ago. I didn't think it was worth the money.

Thanks for all the input! I'm doing a test run now. I got a letter for a life membership offer and that's what I was debating on.

I come here for all my hunting tips though

I like the books that they offer you. I don't mind spending any money if it has ANYTHING to do with hunting. I am a life member. I have started their knife collection also, yeah they are damn expensive, but hey...they look cool.

I have gotten a lantern to test, and those sticker face camo deals. Either way, I like it....I have a problem when it comes to spending money on hunting though
They also send out a list of guides and all that stuff, like a directory. Also get a List of taxidermists that offer discounts to NAHC members and things like that.

I am a member, not life though. I don't think the magazine is the best out there, but it isn't too bad, pretty interesting stuff. I got to test a knife, and a first aid thing. They sent me a couple books, and I bought one, but it wasn't that good either. It has it's gimmics to attract, but it could be better.
