Default News on the farm for deer season

Haven't been down to the farm in quite a while. So got some news today.

The corn is well over 7 foot tall and deer are literally all over the place.
(Where/when you can actually see them - who knows what lies within?)

So ..... is 120 acres of corn considered a good food plot/deer attractant?

Now if the weather will cooperate and it rains/stays wet in the low parts of a couple fields, thefarmer won't risk getting stuck and he'll leave some standing which has always played out nicely for us.

Sounds like it may be very promissing. I'm sure you'll let us know how it all turns out (I think it would be nice to be on your team for the 2007 season)

Good luck this year, sounds like you got a great place set up! I prefer beans to corn though becouse sometimes the deer bed in the corn and are a little hard to get out.

Ain't no water in the corn so they gotta come out eventually for a drinky.

In addition, we mostly shotgun the farm and the corn is down by then. They just keep grazing the fields for the "shake" corn.
