Default Do you use a grunt call? If so whats your alltime favorite.

Just curious on everyones opinion. I like the hunters specialtiestrue talker but I just bought the primos buck roar to see how I like it. I own probably 15 different deer calls. Dont really know why. Some I dont likebut some I do. Guess I have an addiction. Dont really know why I keep buying them.

I have had some success with the True Talker. I haven't tried many others, but I think the True Talker sounds great.

I just bought the True Talker and the Buck Roar a few months ago and cant wait to try them this season.

One question about the True talker though. Because there is a doe call on it, does that mean I can leave the can (doe in heat) call at home?

Bowgrunter Plus. The "inhale" design is such a good idea. Definetly prevents you from blowing too hard. Very realistic sounding call too. I used to love the True Talker until i started using the Bowgrunter Plus.

All-time fav was always the H.S True Talker. This calls natural deep authentic grunts, clicks and pops simply can't be duplicated with the hollow sound plastic calls that most carry. This call honestly has been directly responsible for bringing back and/or positioning my last few trophy class bucks. That being said, last year I found a call that very cloely duplicates it's authentic deeper tone.... the Primos Buck Roar can not only sound like the real deal but with the added attractiveness of the Roar/Growl and an added attached Snort Wheeze,... it doesn't get much better than that! I was honestly impressed by many of the reactions I got from whitetail bucks last season. I look forward to carrying this call to the woods again this season.

Yes you can. I have successfully called in does and bucks with the doe in heat on that call. Two seasons ago 4 does came in followed by a buck probably 30 mins after using the call. I do still like the primos can calls but have not needed it.

Ya I love this new Primos Buck roar to but doesnt recreate the doe in heat as well as the true talker. I really like the snort wheeze feature on it though like you said and the new growl/roar is cool. Hopefully it works as good as it sounds. Im sure it will.

I tried the primos buck roar last season and its great! it helped me rattle in 3 decent bucks! Its gives your rattling call a more realistic sound.

True Talker all the way for me!

Edit: I forgot to add that mine got lost for about 2-3months in the woods in snow and rain, I found it about 2mos ago and it works PERFECTLY. I also love the rubber outing, keeps it from making alot of noise
