I went out scoutin yesterday, to see if the 4 and 8 points still had their headgear... I seen the 4 point in a group of 6 Deer... and still had it's Antler's! I got within 15 yards of them, and a couple of them busted me. (Pasture)
Then later on I jumped the big thick racked 8 point bedded on a hillside in some woods... along with 2 big Does. He still was sportin his headgear as well.
Seems most of the time the Adult Deer is staying together... and the Fawns and yearlings are too...

It aint Braggin if you back it up...

Last year I was able to find a matched set from a nice 9 pointer. I have found shed antlers from this same buck in the same spot in previous years but this was the earlist I had found them in East Central Illinois. The date was January 22nd.
