Pretty sure that was a condor or some kind of vulture, huge wingspan.

That sure as heck isn't a condor. My money is on Golden Eagle.

my guess would be a golden eagle too.
apparently they're one of the only species that will intentionally hunt for coyotes.

You're probably right, condors are more scavengers, but they're big.
