Video of small wierd racked buck

The following is a video of a buck i took last night. The deer seems to have injured his antler early in the season. As far as i can tell hes just a 3 pointer now. His left antler is realy nice but the right antler goes behind his ear. The first2 photos are video stills, and the last one is a trail cam picture from about 200 yards away on a trail that comes from a different field. The video link is at the bottom.

Would be interesting to see what he looks like come deer season!

That deer could have been injured the season before. That antler growth happens when they have been injured. Usually whatever side they have been injured on the other side of the rack will be deformed. Thats not speculation thats a fact... I have had that happen before. I shot a buck one evening late, on his right side up around his neck. I never recovered that deer. But the following year I had the same buck, come right down the same trail and walked into my shooting lane and I put the smack down on him and later while skinning him I found my broadhead from the year before...

Last year we had a buck that had a weird rack on the opposite side, but we were told he died in the early spring.

You may want to shoot it, just in case thatit isa defect, but in Ohio, you guy only get one buck tag, right?

yea we only get 1 buck tag, which really sucks

Just went and checked my deer cam and got him on their again. He seems to have grown a little too.
