Get a shed, make it a toy for your dog, hide it, and when they find it praise them. Hide in progressively tougher locations.

My lab brought 2 skulls and 2 sheds this year. I use "find a bone" for a command.

I read an article in Outdoor Life about a guy who's dog finds hundreds of sheds a year. He used the find a bone command.
