I was just wondering if anyone hunted from a groundblind i have recently built one and i hunt out of it now, whats the most effective way to get in and out of it without doing any damage to the days hunt?

I would say getting to your ground blind is no different thatn getting to your tree stand. I myself take the way where I wont get busted. If I have to walk a little farther and not get busted or not leave much scent then thats the way Im headed. One of the things I dislike about the Indiana gun season is I have to use a flashlight getting to my stand in the morning. It would sure help if I didnt have to use one. Its not like I dont know every inch of the propertys I hunt. I just wanna be safe to hunt another day. Here in Indiana in the county I hunt, everyone is a deer hunter when gun season rolls around. Be safe is the first rule...

I am not sure if you plan to take your blind in and out every day you hunt or if you are going to set-up your blind, leave it and want to know how to get into it without bumping deer?
Putting it out and leaving it would be better if you can, especially if you can put it out prior to season even starting. The deer will have a chance to get used to it and the scent will get knocked off with acouple rains.
If you plan to transport in and out daily, then I hope that the blind is simple to set-up and easy to carry. I would make sure to get out and set-up at least an hour prior to sun-up and try to take a path to where you want to set-up at that will not bump deer, offers good cover and concealment and the easiest to traverse.

Try to come in down wind. Also where it is the easiest and quietest going to and from your stand. Another idea is come in from a trail, road, powerline, or edge of a food plot and then go directly to your stand. The processof finding the right routes will probably be some trial and error but you will know the best way to come and go after you do it a few times. ANALYZE IT AFTER YOU COME THEN WHEN YOU ARE LEAVING. Ask yourself did I bump any dear, how was the wind, was I sweating a lot, did it take to long, etc?
