Default Big Ol' buck Question

I knowa few of you have prolly seen this picture on here a couple times, as its my favorite deer cam pic. It was taken last October and the buck servived the season. Now ive been getting pictures of him since 2003, when he was either a 2 1/2 year old or a 3 1/2 year old. Since the upcoming season will be either his 6th or 7th year, do you think he will get bigger, stay the same size, or start to decline. The reason im asking is becouse he's pretty famous around here and alot of hunters have been trying to get shots at him for a long time. Thanks in advance!

If it's going to be his 6th year in 2008, then he'll be at his prime and stay the same or slightly bigger. If it's his 7th year then he'll be declining.

I totally agree with kshunter, his 6th yr will be his prime after that decline. Here in northern Mn, 5 and 6 are the prime ages don't get much older than that because of the winters and hunting pressure. Actually most racks around here seem to be the biggest at 5.5

Look at it this way he is spreading his genetics around your area so it could mean alot of his antler growth to his offspring.I have never seen a 8 year old deer in the wild ,I have seen them on my friends deer farm and they just stayed about the same for several years Like from 6 to 10 years, but those deer had proper feeding.
