Deer everywhere and Scared of Nothing. DO they Know I can't Shoot them Now?
Season Opens Here on Aug. 15 and i can't wait
found some nice sheds this spring while turkey hunting.

where do you live that you can hunt deer on august 15? in wisconsin deer hunting opens in mid-septemeber

In my part of Wisconsin we spell it SEPTEMBER.You must be in the Polish part.

By the way furgitter, there should be a comma between the word "Wisconsin" and the word "we".

some times i swear they know that you can't shoot them . Comes opening day they act totally different. In the off season i have been able to stalk up on them incredibly close. I find if you don't look them in the eye and pretend that your not even interested in them they don't get as nervous .In the hunting season as soon as they notice you theyare gone

I also Noticed something else a few years ago.
On a Horse you can walk right up to a deer bedding down with no problem.
That encourage me to get a 45 LC Pistol and i learned a few things about that too
1. You can Shoot off any Horse atleast 1 Time
2. Do not Carry the Pistol in a holster If you fall the Hammer will cut a nice gash in your side (I have a nice Scar to prove it) Thank God It Didn't Go Off and put a bullet in my leg
3. After Shooting at 30+ Deer and killing none it is not a successful Hunt.
4. My Horse Blinks Deer Now

you all are lucky to have ur deer season start that early here in alabama the archery season doesnt start till the middle of october and the rifle season doesnt start till the middle of november the season ends at the end of january

Man, that's a real sporting way to kill a deer. Should be illegal. Pleasetell me your not that lazy towhere you can't kill a deer without a horse.
