Hey, yeah i hunt and im a girl...im the only girl in my entire school that goes hunting and actually kills animals...weird huh? last year i decided to try it out, and during gun season i shot my first doe. then, this year i decided to try bowhunting and i got my first deer with a bow...a buck!! it was actually a little small and sorta big for a 6 point. also, i went turkey hunting last year and killed a jake. i was just as happy by killing that as i was killing my buck. so, am i the only girl on here? also, is it weird that i hunt and im a girl?

There are a bunch of girls here, although fewer in Deer Hunting than you might find in the Off Season, Archers Choice, Bow Hunting and Camp Cooking forums. Many of the ladies here are very accomplished and well respected, one was recently featured in a hunting mag article, and another is an accomplished taxidermist. Hope you stick around long enough to meet them all.

Sorry, I should mention that I'm not a girl.
