RE: What time of day do you get your deer?
It depends on the time of the year and the place I'm at. If I'm in by a food plot I'll see them mostly right at daybreak or right before dark. If I'm in the woods between the bedding and feeding areas I'll see them between 8-10. If I'm in the really thick stuff where I like to go, I could see them at anytime. I've killed a big deer at 11:30, and another nice buck at 2 in the afternoon. That covers the where. If it's pre-rut, the deer are pretty patternable. You pretty much know when and where they will be walking by. The rut is a whole different story, they could show up anywhere anytime, they don't really follow a schedule as long as they are chasing does trying to get a peice. Post-rut they tend to develop a pattern again, and once you find that pattern you can begin to target the deer at specific times and locations again.
