Hey guys...I thought that yall might like to see the deer I shot on 12-5-06.
He is a main frame 10 point...16 in. spread...23 and 22 in. main beams...5 in. bases...4 1/2 years old and weighed 240 lbs.
I shot him laying in some grass with two other bucks and a hot doe...I spotted him (his horns)while going to move a stand in order to get closer to where he was bedding...
Shot him at 20 yds...with my 45-70...he never moved...just fell over!

Beautiful buck, welcome to the forums. You didn't field dress him in the field?
Naw, my truck with my Honda in it was only parked about 250 yds. away...drove my 4-wheeler right up to him..I had to have help loading himup though...plus, I was kind of curious how much he weighed and I only live 3 minutes from where I hunt!
