Default Safety harness knot

Good morning,
Does anyone know the name of that slip knot that you attach your safety harness to when using a climber. I've got an extra rope and was going to attach one of those safety slip knots to it.. Then I was going to try and find a site that shows how totie that knot.

I found it ..

Prusic knot.Chuck7


Prusik Knot the loop onto the bridle line (See Kite flyers Knots above for more info) and then adjust its position as shown in the diagram below.

Yep, that's it. If I'm not mistaken, I think that Summit suggests three layers of rope on each side, unlike the two layers shown in your picture. Less chance of having it slide more than it needs to I guess.
