Default What do you think about this 8 pt?

I'd like to get some input on my buck from everyone. Obviously he's special to me, he's a mainframe eight thatnets just over 160" and his tips cross over by around a half an inch. His inside spread is only 17" but his mainbeams are both over 27 inches. I harvested him in Wisconsin with a 50 Cal Muzzleloader after our regular nine day rifle season. Thanks to all in advance.

Very nice! Unique rack, I've never seen one that crosses in the front like that. Must have been work for him to rub off the velvet...

congrats on a super buck!!! He's every bit a shooter. The tiny crabs claw on the end of the left beam is neat.
how big is his body? He looks to be a good sized deer.

Congrats, that will make for a nice mount. Too cool the way his tips cross over...

Thats a pretty nice crown of tines , good mass though out the entire rack.
Definetly something to proud of and well worth mounting ... CONGRATS .

He was a pretty big deer but he was all rutted out. He only weighed 175LBS. Not an once of fat on him. He was six and a half years old. The really cool thing is my buddy shot either his father or his brother back in 2001 and has him on the wall. We're hunting some pretty big tracts of public land in northern Wisconsin and it's neat to see good genetics being passed along.
