How many years do deer typically live?

If they aren't shot I think about8 or 10 would be getting pretty old, although I read an article in QDMA magazine a couple of years ago where a doe fawn was tagged and was eventually shotwhen shewas19 years old.

I saw a show on the Discovery Channel that said they can live to be 20.

Oldest buck shot in New Brunswick was 15.5 years old. I know a guy that shot one there that was 9.5 years old.
