Yesterday when i was out small game hunting i had a 8pt. buck run 40yds from me chasing 3 does around...... to bad or season ends so soon, it was so tempting

I dont think NY had a very good rutting season . At least Northern NY.
I sean a couple decent bucks and only one the whole season that was actualy chasing does ??
Has anyone else notice this in NY ???? This past season ???
Ya i sort of noticed that, the weather hasnt really been consistant enough and i think the deer are confused about when fall ends and winter starts

I agree the rut wasnt as good as past years.I didnt see one buck chasing does this season in NY.Although i did see plenty of bucks chasing does in PA during archery and gun season.
