Default New England Firearms

Is anyone here familiar with the single shot break action rifles by NE Firearms?

My Father has the .270, .308, and the 30-06. All by NE Firearms, and they all are blued with synthetic stocks.

Can anyone tell me about the quality and accuracy of them. I went to the website, but you cant get in without a login...and there was no way to create an account.

I did shoot an 8 point buck with the .308 WIN,but he was close, and that did not show me anything as far as accuracy is concearned. I really like the feel of them, but I want to know more before I buy one of my own.
Please Advise...

I've never shot a NE rifle before but I own one of their single shot 12 GA. and buddy it kicks like a mule, haha.

From what I've been told though they are just as accurate as any other rifle you can find, on the low end that is. I would recommend it.

Hey by the way what is NE Firearms website?

My younger brother had a single shot NE 30-06. It shot just fine. Never had any problems with it. I believes he also has a shot gun from there and it is a good shooter also. I myself have shot the rifle and while it was on the light side it was right on at 100yards.

I previously had a .270 and currently have .223 in the survivor model. They shoot fine and a I don't have any complaints. There also a lot of new barrels available for about $100.

I have a 22 hornet and a .223 handi, both blue/synthetic. I find the accuracy to be much better than any 'low end' bolt action that you'd ever find.

I have a NE 30.06, very accurate, very light and boots like an ornery horse. I traded a muzzleloader scope for it...and I am thinking I got the better deal.
