Default to cold to hunt

As we get closer to the end of the season here. The days can be much colder then during the start of the season. At what point do you say its just to cold to sit in the stand?

saying it's too cold to hunt is like saying it's too hot to fish....simply impossible

It's never too cold. You can worry about the temp. after the season is over.

I'ts too cold when you are shivering too much to draw your bow and hold steady, or your fingers are so frozen you can't feel yourself touch the trigger. Then again, if you haven't bagged your buck, it's amazing what you will tolerate in those last few days. Wind an issue here, not really the temp. If you start to get sea sick in your stand, you should probably call it a day.

Too cold? Never! I look forward to late season bow hunting in subzero weather.

I've hunted when it was -25 without wind chill, and while it wasn't comfortable, I did shoot my deer that morning, so it was worth it.

It was 15 degrees on Saturday morning when we were hunting and it was cold an all, but with the right gear you can handle it no problem. I only have problems with the tips of my toes. I guess I need better socks and boots, but when you're sitting so still right before sunrise it just finds its way in everytime....
