Drop Tine Buck...In The Wrong Place

It's Illinois gun season this weekend, and I shot two does this morning. The last two mornings, there has been a monster 10 pointer with a big droptine. Only thing is, he is hanging out by the end of a fencerow. There isn't much cover in it. I really dont know the best approach is. I'm afraid he will wind me before i can get a shot off. What would you do?

Tomorrow, I would ask a friend to try to push him to you. Setup on the ground if you have to.

Hard question! If you don't have a shot where you are at, you might as well not see him, but if you try to get closer, and spook him he's gone for good! You say there isn't much cover, so there doesn't sound like there are many options! Even with a good cover scent, you can't just ignore the wind, but a good ground blind, or high tree stand might work. If he's rutting, you might be able to stay put, and rattle or call him into range. Good luck!
