[:@] Got a call last night from my hunting buddy down in Warrensburg. Someone spotlighted and shot a huge 10 pt.[:'(] across the road from my place. He was called by the game warden, who wanted access to my ground to use as a steak out. I consented, and wished them luck. Tonight I called for an update, and they recovered the deer, and it's in custody, and they are saturating the area with several game officers, and my buddy, in order to catch these jerks that are doing this. It's getting real bad here, and alot of the landowners are reallystarting to complain to the game officers. If I didn't have to work in the morning, I'd be down there helping also! I'm off on tuesday, so will see if they need some help then. Need prayers here to help catch these people! We need all the help we can get![:@]

It must be a Missouri thing,, lol its bad here too. Ive heard rumors that the buck Ive been chasing all season was spotlighted the thursday night before rifle season, and I even saw him for the first time that morning, no sightings or pics of him since then either, Were trying to get some names, but nothing yet. Thats bad, and I definitely know how you feel, hopefully they will catch them, and put a stop to some of this crap! Its bad around my area,, I work with some real sorry people, and have to hear the bragging about all the spotlighted bucks and roadkilled deer, and dog running all the time, they are proud of it, like a game they enjoy playing. It makes me sick![:'(]Good luck on catching them, wish I could help out too.

Local game warden caught some southern boys out poaching a few days ago. Theyshot a big 10 pointer on his neighbor's property with a rifle and spotlight. They were out of state guys that didn't know where they were.
Tenessee has a "Robo-deer" that they use to catch poachers. I've only seen pics never in use, it looks just like a real deer.
Seems like I remember watching a video about this thing in Ag class back in high school about 4 years ago

I wish them luck. We have lots of poaching here in MD. Kind of surprising for a heavily populated state with lots of DNR personnel. IMO they need to spend lots more time catching these pukes rather than trying to bust ethical hunters on BS technical errors such as filling out tags incorrectly, etc. I guess it's a lot easier to hassle the average hunter who is not trying to hide from them and does not pose a threat.
