Default thank u god

it has been 10years since my dad has went hunting but this year he told me that he wanted to go with me so i put him a stand up and isat in it only 2 times in the first part of bow just to see how it was and after seeing a nice buck around it i didnt go back to it. well this morn was opening day of gun when we got to the woods i walked dad to his stand and went on my way about 2 hours later i heard boom i got over to see this sad look on his face he said im sorry bub he was big and i missed him im sorry trying not to laugh at the old guy i said its ok we all do. as i went to look just to b safe i found hair but no blood when i told him that he felt worst thinking he just hurt him but as we started back to the truck to put the guns up and come back to look for any more sign he yeld like a little girl there he is bub there he is jumping up and down like the dough boy on crack and a fast hug he ran out to claim his buck a 125 class his biggest ever but we never did find a drop of blood and he died in a field of white grass thats y i say thank you god and for giveing me this mem of seeing my dad so happy i will never for get this hunt thank you god!!!

Congrats to you and your dad! My dad did the same thing he stopped hunting a few years ago. I hope I will get the opportunity to do the same some day. We did go on a three day fishing trip to the coast a couple weeks ago. Its a blessing just to spend a little time with him.

Good for you and congrats to your dad. I take my son hunting and fishing whenever he wants to go. I hope he will remember when he is in a position to take me.
