Finally Got Me A Deer This Evening

Well ive hunted since opening morning, seen lots of deer, decided i would get up today and go out hunting...Left the house around 3 o'clock grab my tree stand, and my rifle and headed out on the four wheeler. Got up on top of the ridge and hung two scent bombs out and started my climb up the tree in my stand. Soon as I got settled in it started to pour the rain and the wind wasn't so good neither. Around 15 mins til 5 i see some movement down in the holler, Kept on watching as the deer made its way toward the scent bomb. I see that it has some antlers, So I raise my rifle and take aim....boom..watch the deer fall and start flopping down the hill, Then he gets back up and makes some more tacks on down the holler....wait around 15 mins and got out of the tree and heading down the hill, found him crashed up against a big log....well the story ends, he was a 4pt wasnt a monster or bigger than the deer I have killed in the past, but he will be good eating this winter, and always a memory will last a life time
