Default Got some bad news this mourning

I am a college student so I don't live at home for the time being and was talking to my mom the other day and she told me that the deer I have scouted for prolly 2 months was lying on the road dead. I went stone cold cause this guys was BIG both body and rack wise. This is also the only buck I have gotten on camera so it isn't looking good for me to get a buck this year. here is a pic of him this august.

Ya thats a tuff one but there's a new bus comin in every day i always say. Last year i had the large buck i was hunting get shot while i was away working, scored in the 190's. I just about cried but i was happy for the guy who got it. Shame to see this one wasted but where there is one good deer there are others in the area, someone will take over his pad. Oh also i see you have a cam set up on a bait. In my experiences bait will usually not bring the pigs into eat. there is a bigger deer around there u just haven't seen em yet.

There will be another buck to take his place. It´s like a salmon river, if it´s a good spot to lie, another one will use it when available.
Good luck,
A.H.

Yeah that's tough news to swallow but if he's there, you can bet there are others as well.
