I may not be able to help with any advice for your new area since I'm in Michigan , but I would like to welcome you to the best hunting site on the web.
You might want to pick up an Atlas and Gazzettrer for your new state this large paper back map book I'm talking about is published by DeLorem and you should be able buy them at any sporting good place.
It's a detailed map book of every county of that state and it has an index of hunting land , parks , state forest it really has alot of information in it.
I wish you good luck and a safe / sucsessful season.

Welcome rick, I would think if you send Washington Hunter a PM he would be happy to help you if he can. He's "your man in Washington".

"dude", locate where Washington Hunter has made a Post or a reply and on the lower left corner you'll see PM, click it andtype your message, then click "send".
