I promised my wife Id have her first deer mounted, well she got one,, a button buck, and I kept my promise, and had it mounted for her,, even though she didnt want it done. It is a really nice pedestal mount with a habitat base, and is probably one of the neatest mounts Ive got.

I been trying my hand at taxidermy the last few years. I needed some practice deer so I mounted this doe for a 12 year old boy. It was his first deer.

One of the prettiest mounts I've seen was a doe mount. This was years ago but I was at the John A. Logan Hunting & Fishing show and was browsing at all the deer mounts they had on hand. Anyways, there was a doe mount (shoulder mount) where the doe'shead was basically turned 180 degrees and was licking herself. It was a gorgeous mount to say the least. I think that if I keep adding to my collection of mounts I'll need to add a doe mount into the mix.

Awesome mounts! My wife and I want a doe and buck mounted together. I really like AMC' pose on the first one. Why not get a doe mounted? Just never had the money and all my buck mounts are eauropean style(bone)...... cause I nerver had the $$$.
