bears feet boot cover?????????

cabelas used to sell a product that slipped over your boots that muffled leaves for stalking deer or other game. after losing many days of deer hunting to high winds i finally gave in and tried stalking like i did back in the day. saw more deer than i did my whole vacation. even passed a nice buck @ less than 5 yards!!! does anyone know what these boot covers where called and how they worked out? thanks, shaner

I remember the product you're talking about , just not the name . Basically , it was a cover that slipped over the boot and had a very soft padded bottom that muffled the sound of your foot steps . If your lady love is halfway handy with a sewing machine she could make them for you , tell her to use a 1,000 denier Cordura nylon fabric for the sole for durability , with 1-2" poly batting for the filler . It would look something like sandals with a very soft sole when she's done . Velcro strips could be used as attachment straps .
