Default Do you believe in ScentLok?

Anybody here believe in that scent lok BS? After reading a website COMPLETELY explaining scent lock suits, it makes too much sense that Scent Lok is a ripoff. Without starting anything, whats your view?

I've got $270 wrapped up in a full season scent loc suit. I was very hesitant to buy it and since have done a lot of research on the stuff. The tags are still on it and I'm planning to return it. The science just doesn't support the claims. They are taking advantage of us. Use some good spray like dead down wind and you'll be better off.

I believe in it..IF you use it right! You can't just store it in the ext cab of you pickup between uses, and you can't wear it while smoking a cigarette on your way out to a stand...simple little things like that add up quickly to detract from the effectiveness...But if you don't have the money then stay away...as with any hunting there is only so much you can do to aid the huntthe rest is just the right amount of luck....

kdsberman, pm me that website, I would like to read more about them

Do I own a Scent Lok suit? No. Do I believe any claim that states to forget the wind and just hunt? No. Before I left the military, I picked up a chemical suit (NBC) that is the same basic charcoal as in scent lok. I've had bucks very close to me even when ground blind hunting, but again still had to consider the wind.

Don't use it and don't believe it works as advertised. The science just isn't there! Hunt the wind and in blue jeans and a tshirtand you are better off.
