if you have that much going on just before rifle season and theres alot of bow and turkey hunting going on it could be a crap shoot. Hopefully your season lasts for at least a few weeks and after the first week of rifle season is over things will have calmed down a bit. your best bet is just persitance and get as much time in the field as possible and should be able to see how bad things have been disrupted.

If you hunt public land like I do, let other hunters push the deer to you. Set up in thick cover that whitetails might run to when pressured. Also, hunt all day if possible, I have seen and killed more bucks during the rifle season from 10am-2pm, when hunters leave the woods for lunch and when they start to return for the evening.

yupper,

what happens is that all the other not serious hunters are going to lunch
or up walking around and gets the deer moving to cover..

There is no public land in the unit where I hunt and I doubt that I will see another hunter all week.
