Found an early food source but......

no trace that the deer are using it. Yesterday while scouting out some new land, I found a huge muscadine vine that was dropping alot of muscadines. I sampled one out that had just fallen and it was good!!!!! But it puzzles me why the deer aren't all over it, unless it just started dropping them a couples days or so ago???? The vine is 50 plus yds. inside the woods, 100 plus yds. off of dirt road that has little use and other than a few cows that share the area, there is virtually no disturbances to keep the deer away from the muscadines. Any thoughts????? Thanks, Scott Woody

maby it is a cold weather food source kida like brasics where after the first frost the compound of the plant changes making it more desierable to the deer just a guess.

The deer probably have more than they can eat and the other foods are preferred.
