The best...who knows? You'll get lots of different opinions on here, but keep in mind that they are personal opinions and what works well for one may not for another...but I'm sure you know that alreay.
I personally like the Gorilla King Kong.
Not that you asked, but when hanging a lock on stand, I like to use my climber stand to do it with. That is of course if you're putting it in a tree that will allow you to do so. The first time I hung my lock on I did it with just foot pegs screwed into the tree and my safety harness and it turned out to be a heck of a job. The next time I used the climber and it was a piece of cake. Just a thought...
Best of luck,
Craig

If you don't mind spending a little extra to get a lot. Check out the API loc-on's. I have one and I love it.

yea i prefer climbers above any other stands as well but where i want to put a stand there is no tree that i could use for a climber unless i cut alot of limbs and poison oak vines[&:] I was looking at the API's and they look like they would work great but then again any stand would work right? lol

Best, Lone Wolf. Climbers don't work on all trees, so you need something. I've already set and trimmed 23 set's this year, still have as many to do. Think I'd be using anything but the easiest? Hanging and trimming set's is tough enough, don't make it tougher on yourself than it needs to be by using poorly designed stands and sticks.
