It's starting here in West Alabama also. I saw a nice buck run a doe 400 yards through an open field yesterday. Tonight on the way home I saw a small 8 point standing on the side of the road eating. Not a whole lot of chasing going on here. Alot of the does I've seen are allowing the bucks to hang around. Just depends on where you are.

its about time[:@], why can't we cut some of the 80 deg hunting out and move our season by a few weeks into feb, say have bow season from nov1- thankgiving and gun season start thanksgiving w/e or something.
it has been so warm this "winter?" and bow hunting in 75-80 weather and fightin skeeters is unreal[:@], it really makes it unpleasent

I'm with you on this one! Seems like hunting just starts to get good here in AL and the season ends.
