I don't know exactly what a shed bucket is but what we do is take two steel sheets and cut two slits in the bottom of them so they cross each other and lie on the ground. We place that over corn or a mineral lick and when the bucks get in their their antlers smack that steel gate and we get lucky and find usually around 7-8 sheds that way. I've heard of people taking a steel pole and welding 4 1 inch iron poles off it about 12 inches from the steel pole and hanging chains from it. They put this in the ground and pour mineral or corn around it and deer get their antlers wrapped around the chains. I find this a little unethical b/c it could really hurt the deer or even kill them if they get stuck. Don't know if this is what your talking about but I hope it helps.

What ever happened to just walking the woods and looking for sheds? You might actually learn more about the area you are hunting.
