Well today I was going to head out to the farm and spend a few minutes practicing with my bow before I headed out to hunt. When I got there I got my bow out and looked out in the field and about 5 does were already out there. I hurried up and threw my camo on and got an arrow knocked and when I looked one had fed into about 50 yards
I started my stalk and ended up following the tree line 15 yards from the deer. When I drew it was behing a tree and as soon as it stepped out another deer started blowing (obviously seeing me) and it took off. I later went and sat where they ran off to hoping they would come back out before dark and once again here came an old doe about 35 yards and on her way towards me. But yet againsomething went wrong. A car coming down the driveway spooked her and she ran off.
Tomarrow is the last day of the season so hopefully I can get a crack at one of them.
