Default dad's first deer

I have been hunting for about thirteen years now. My dad just started hunting with me for the past three years. Tonight he shot his first buck. I was a little disapointed in him for shooting such a small buck, but I can relate. It was dark and all he saw was horns. Im sure he had a case of buck fever to go along with it. None the less his hard work has paid off.

Judging from the smile on your Dad's face I'd have to say that it was plenty big enough to make him happy , and that's all that really matters . Celebrate his success with him , to him it is a trophy.
