Average Dressed weight - 1.5 to 2.5 year old buck in your area?
What is the average 1.5 - 2.5 year old buck's dressed weight for your area? Bucks only, please do not post doe weights.
If you are not sure of the weight - please do not guess.
Were your average weights down this year in your area?
Thanks
FH

Around here most seem to be in the 130's, we heve gotten a few over 150 and an odd one or two in the last ten years over 200.

I checked the 120 to 140 lbs. box for the 1.5 year olds in my area, which is northern Ill. and southern Wis. 2.5 usually go from 145 to 165 lbs.

RE: Average Dressed weight - 1.5 to 2.5 year old buck in your area?
It varies from deer to deer. I took a 1.5 3pt last year that dressed at 150. Then this year I took a 1.5 5 pt that only went 115.
Note: First was taken 10-4 and the other was 12-22. So I have a feeling the rut / winter had something to do with it.
On average...I'd have to say around 135 up here in NW PA.
