In ohio we use temp plastic tags for in the feild and then when you go to the DNR or a allowable check station they put on a permanent metal band that looks just like that one. But I dont know if ohio is the only one to use that stlye of tags. Nice buck! Also just noticed that in pic two it has a plastic tyrap on its antler, that is one method they recomend for attaching the plastic tag to the deer since they dont provide any means to do so, just the plain plastic/papper tag with a whole in it.
