This is a spike i took last weekend (biggest spike ive ever seen).....anyway he had some gray spots down his back so i think he was an older buck........pretty cool i think

i saw a buck in velvet with spikes like that but they were a little longer. that was back over the summer while the bucks were in velvet. i would actually like to shoot a spike like that.

That's pretty cool, that might actually be a case of a spike destined to stay a spike. Do you have any other pics of him??

Could be an older deer that was on the decline. He has kind of a blunted nose like an older deer.
